The Novalac range of infant formulas consists of 6 specialised formulas designed to manage feeding problems in bottle fed babies. Each formula is nutritionally complete with specific ingredients to solve a range of infant feeding problems.* The Novalac range also includes a Stage 1 and Stage 2 formula for general use.

Specialised Infant Formula
Novalac Constipation contains increased lactose and reduced levels of casein to help prevent constipation plus increased magnesium and an optimal calcium:phosphorus ratio 2:1 (which helps soften stools).

Novalac Colic has reduced lactose levels, much of the lactose being replaced with other easily digestible carbohydrates to reduce discomfort from gas production.

Novalac Reflux contains specially treated cornstarch, which thickens in the stomach, and in combination with casein, helps to encourage gastric emptying.

Novalac Hypoallergenic contains partially hydrolysed whey peptides and no casein, to reduce allergy risk in susceptible infants.               

Novalac Diarrhoea* contains electrolytes for rehydration, glucose and fructose for feeding and has low osmolarity.

Novalac Sweet Dreams (for hungry babies) contains a blend of carbohydrates which are gradually digested and increased casein to slow gastric emptying, for a longer lasting feeling of satiety.

Novalac specialised formulas are part of a comprehensive range of products that have been specifically developed to meet a baby’s nutritional requirements and are suitable for ongoing use for babies who experience the feeding problems described above. General Use Infant Formula
Novalac Stage 1 contains a full range of vitamins and minerals, plus the right balance of proteins, carbohydrates and fats for infants 0-5 months.

Novalac Stage 2 contains a full range of vitamins and minerals, plus the right balance of proteins carbohydrates and fats for infants 6-12 months.
